Abigail Lennox

Abigail Lennox

vocals, guitar, bowdhrán

Abigail Lennox tends to feel cozy with genres ranging from early plainchant to newly composed treasures to the heartfelt tunes of traditional music. She completed her Master’s degree in Voice at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, and subsequently performed happily as soloist under Simon Carrington, Sir David Willcocks, Sir Neville Marriner, Jeffrey Thomas, and Helmuth Rilling, and with Ensemble Européen William Byrd, New World Symphony, Apollo’s Fire, Michigan Opera Theater, and American Bach Soloists. But these days she is happiest singing old and new tunes with her friends and learning to play the Bodhran. She has a beautiful family, loves plants, cries easily, and is seated on the hope-train waving for folks to get on board.
